Job summary

Tetra Tech Europe is seeking an electrical designer to join their Water Consultancy team in Brighton. In this role, you will contribute to AMP8 and AMP9 wastewater programmes, producing critical design deliverables and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project goals.

Requires an electrical engineering degree or related field. The position supports hybrid working, with typical office attendance of 2-3 days per week, and reasonable accommodations are offered to ensure employee wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Expected: degree in electrical engineering or closely allied subject (IET-accredited preferred).
• Desirable: relevant industry training in ICA/SCADA, CDM, or water sector process modules.

Responsibilities

• Produce electrical and instrumentation/control & automation (ICA) design deliverables.
• Develop technical competence in LV/MV distribution, load assessments, and ICA architecture.
• Take responsibility for complex design packages and lead technical tasks.
