Job Description:

The purpose of the role is to support Envea's operations and projects by providing input into design, project management, stock management, and workshop activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Producing electrical and instrumentation drawings and documentation for customers, production, installation, and commissioning teams.
2. Updating and maintaining AutoCAD/SolidWorks libraries and standards.
3. Implementing new products and equipment into libraries.
4. Developing knowledge of CEMS and Gas Detection systems through technical support and training, with progression to Project Engineer role.
5. Assisting Design Engineers, Systems Engineers, and the Operations Manager with drawings and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Supporting activities as required by the Project Team.
7. Creating drawing templates for the Engineering Department.
8. Processing design change requests and updating library drawings and documents accordingly.
9. Performing any other reasonable requests from management.

Profile:

• Strong AutoCAD/SolidWorks skills.
• Good electrical knowledge and understanding.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and process engineering.
• Understanding of efficient design, project, and admin office workflows.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and computer literate (AutoCAD/SolidWorks, MS Office, Adobe Acrobat).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet targets and deadlines.
• Experience in creating and controlling drawings and documentation is advantageous.

Qualifications:

NVQ in Electrical Based Engineering or equivalent.

This role is based at the Envea office in Tranmere, Wirral, with occasional travel to other ENVEA sites in the UK and very occasionally internationally.
