Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD seek an Electrical Design Engineer – Solar PV to lead electrical design for 250kW+ rooftop projects with a well–established contractor.

Based near Leigh with hybrid working options, you will create accurate technical drawings, specify cable routes and distribution, and support installers on site during complex projects.

Salary up to 55,000 (negotiable) with 36 days holiday, healthcare cash plan, and discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience designing electrical for commercial solar PV (250kW+).
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, cable routing and safety.
• Desirable: on-site installation experience.
• Hybrid working options available.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design of commercial solar PV systems.
• Create and submit electrical drawings for cable routes and distribution.
• Assist installers on complex projects and perform site visits.
• Collaborate with sales and surveying teams for initial data.
