CIBSE Journal in Warrington is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to a major nuclear decommissioning programme, delivering electrical infrastructure solutions from concept to commissioning.
You will work in a multidisciplinary team, produce and check design packages, and mentor junior engineers while on a hybrid pattern (3 days on site). The role is long-term with a competitive rate of 48-51 per hour Inside IR35.

We're seeking a talented engineer to join the Silos PFCS Supporting Projects team, playing a key role in the design and delivery of electrical infrastructure solutions supporting one of the UK's most significant nuclear decommissioning programmes.
This is an opportunity to work within a highly skilled multidisciplinary engineering team, delivering innovative design solutions from concept through to commissioning while supporting nationally important projects.
Working within the Electrical & Instrumentation design team, you'll be responsible for producing and checking design packages that support safety, operational and business objectives across a range of plant–facing projects.
You’ll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, supporting design development, construction activities and commissioning while collaborating closely with engineers across multiple disciplines.
