Job summary

Armstrong Fluid Technology is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of electrical systems for modular HVAC, packaged plant rooms and capital equipment at our Droitwich site. The role requires hands-on design capability, cross-functional collaboration, and strong knowledge of electrical standards.

Key responsibilities include producing detailed electrical designs, load calculations, and documentation, with adherence to safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in electrical design for building services or industrial systems.
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671:2018 and related IET guidance.

Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical designs in accordance with SOP EBD-PP-001.
• Produce SLDs, cable schedules and schematics with associated calculations.
• Perform peer reviews to verify compliance and buildability.
• Collaborate with mechanical, controls and manufacturing teams for integration.
