Electrical Design Engineer (Mid to Senior, Building Services) - Dunfermline - 40-50K

Lorien’s client, an award-winning, Scottish-born engineering firm with a considerable history, is looking to expand their team due to a new recruitment drive and increased business activity. You may have seen their work around the city!

They have already placed one engineer in the team (who loves the place), and are now seeking another Electrical Engineer, welcoming applications from Mid to Senior level candidates. The company values talent development and offers excellent support for career progression.

You will collaborate with a team of design specialists on electrical design projects across bespoke, commercial, retail, and residential sectors. The work pipeline is varied and ready from day one, contributing to exciting projects for new and repeat clients.

The salary range depends on experience, between 40K and 50K, with ample training and progression opportunities, including formal certifications and career advancement.

The electrical team is based in Dunfermline, conveniently located for commuting from the city centre, West Lothian, Fife, Falkirk, Stirling, and surrounding areas. Candidates should be able to travel to the office around 3 to 4 days per week.

Desired skills and technologies:

• AutoCAD
• Dialux / Relux / Lighting Reality or similar lighting design software
• Experience in Building Services for commercial, retail, or residential projects
• Willingness to learn, upskill, and understand domain regulations and standards
