Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Services Design Engineer in Nottingham to join a leading building services consultancy. You will prepare designs, calculations, specifications and tender docs as part of a project team, and conduct site surveys to inspect installations.

The role requires competent use of CAD / Revit / RELUX / DIALux / Amtech, and you will work on healthcare, commercial, and retail sectors with a strong focus on compliance and future standards.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of designs, calculations, specifications and tender documentation for electrical services as part of a project team
• Carry out site visits for surveys, meetings, and inspection of installation works
• Preparation of reports, meeting minutes, and other related documentation
• Proficient use of design software, including 2D AutoCAD, 3D Revit, RELUX, Amtech, and other appropriate software
• Excellent awareness and understanding of regulations and standards, and keeping up to date with future changes
