Job summary

Sweco is recruiting an Electrical Engineer to deliver LV electrical design input to Anglian Water AMP8 projects across the region. The role requires design and specification work, coordination with contractors, and close liaison with operations and suppliers.

The position emphasizes collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team and may involve site visits with a requirement for a UK driving licence. Flexible hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience as an Electrical Design Engineer.
• Strong electrical engineering background.
• Willingness to be collaborative and work with a multi-disciplined team.
• Experience in the Water Industry is advantageous.
• A full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify LV electrical installations and distribution systems with schedules and data sheets.
• Review LV electrical designs produced by framework contractors and assess schematics, calculations and diagrams.
• Liaise with the project, operations, suppliers and utilities on technical issues.
• Specify and select instrumentation based on the process design.
