Job summary

Edina, based near Manchester, is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our design team on a full-time basis. You will design and develop LV and HV electrical networks, power generation and distribution systems, and DC systems for BESS projects.

You will produce electrical designs and technical documentation, develop LV/HV protection schemes, perform cable sizing, and prepare specifications for switchboards and transformers. Site visits will support design progress and as-built updates.

Qualifications

• HND level qualification in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of construction/engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop LV/HV electrical networks and DC systems for BESS projects.
• Produce electrical designs and technical documentation; develop protection schemes.
• Carry out cable sizing and prepare specifications for switchboards and transformers.
• Support multi-discipline projects with site visits and updates.
