Job summary

Hemiko Ltd seeks a highly flexible Electrical Design Engineer to join the design team in Sheffield. You will help grow heat network infrastructure across the UK, visiting sites as needed and contributing from inception to operation.

The role requires a BEng in Electrical Engineering and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Amtech and DILAX, plus a proactive, collaborative approach to low-carbon energy projects. A strong eye for detail is essential.

Qualifications

• BEng in Electrical Engineering (UK) or equivalent.
• Proficient with electrical design software and standards.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Team oriented with collaborative approach.
• Willingness to learn and progress in low-carbon energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and delivery of energy projects during pre-construction and construction phases.
• Produce detailed drawings, reports, calculations and specifications for different RIBA stages.
• Survey and evaluate existing buildings energy systems.
• Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines.
• Support the design team to own projects from inception to operation.
