Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer (Junior to Intermediate Level)
Salary: 30,000 to 45,000 DOE (Senior considered up to 55,000)
Working Arrangements: Hybrid / Flexible
Location: Dorset

Are you an ambitious Junior or Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer looking to develop your career with a forward–thinking company? I'm working with a respected Design and Build business in Dorset that is looking to expand its team with a talented engineer to work on a wide variety of exciting projects across the commercial, industrial, and large–scale domestic sectors. While the focus is on hiring at Junior to Intermediate level, the company may also consider a Senior Electrical Engineer position for the right candidate, with a salary of up to 55,000.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of electrical design work from concept through to completion
• Interpret client requirements from drawings, specifications, and correspondence
• Collaborate with Mechanical Design Engineers and M&E Co–ordinators
• Provide marked–up drawings for CAD/Revit teams, ensuring compliance with specifications
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and external design teams
• Carry out design calculations using software such as Electrical OM, Amtech, Dialux, and Relux
• Assist in producing single–line diagrams, cable schedules, load assessments, and equipment specifications
• Contribute to design risk assessments and support project documentation
• Learn and grow within a supportive team (opportunities for progression)
