Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking for a new challenge? Our Client is seeking a talented individual to join their team as an Electrical Design Engineer in their Filton location.As the Electrical Design Engineer (Laboratory Test Means), you will play a crucial role in the development of architectures and specifications for data acquisition and control systems for a new test facility and several new test benches focused on Hydrogen testing. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for Test Means Architecture & Integration.Key Responsibilities:- Develop architecture and design solutions for data acquisition and control systems- Create electrical schematics for electrical components- Specify instrumentation for a range of different measurements (Pressure, Flow, Voltage, Current, etc.)- Produce requirement and specification documentation for data acquisition and control systemsThe Ideal Candidate:- Proficient in Electrical Design Tools (AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, KiCad)- Strong understanding of electrical design principles and electrical systems- Experience with electrical architecture design- Knowledge of instrumentation, data acquisition, and control systems- Familiarity with avionic data busses (A429, CAN, AFDX) and hardware interfaces (discretes, analogues)- Excellent team player with a agile and adaptable mindsetThis is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge test facilities and technologies in the aerospace industry.
