Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Junior/Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services) to join a collaborative Bristol team. You’ll contribute to delivering electrical building services designs across project stages, producing calculations, specifications and drawings, and supporting site visits as required.

Applicants should have a few years’ experience in Electrical Building Services, a solid understanding of building services principles, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the design and delivery of Electrical Building Services projects
• Producing engineering calculations, specifications, and technical documentation
• Supporting the development of lighting, power, and associated electrical building services designs
• Working alongside mechanical engineers, architects, and other design professionals
• Contributing to project meetings and coordination activities
• Assisting with site visits and surveys where required
• Supporting project delivery from concept design through to construction stages
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within project deadlines
