Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for bespoke automation projects in Didcot. You will design, lay out architecture, and develop electrical schematics for automated machinery used by major clients, with specialist training and clear progression paths.

The role may involve hybrid working after probation. You will work on multiple projects annually, using AutoCAD Electrical and various PLCs, with responsibilities from quotations to on-site support.

Qualifications

• Electrical design experience in automation projects.
• Experience designing bespoke machinery.
• Willingness to commute to Didcot office.

Responsibilities

• Layout system architecture for automated machinery.
• Design electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Submit quotations and support build and commissioning.
• Maintain up-to-date schematics throughout projects.
• Provide engineering support to controls engineers and operatives.
