Job description

What Are We Looking For?

Saftronics is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis at our Leeds office. As a specialist in the MCC and power control sector, you will collaborate with an established team to deliver control system solutions to the water industry, including managing asset replacements for control systems across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project phases from scoping and detailed design to implementation, ensuring compliance with client specifications and current regulatory standards, with an emphasis on low-carbon solutions.
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary project team to:
• Meet with clients to discuss intervention requirements.
• Conduct intrusive Electrical and ICA site surveys to identify suitable solutions for complex problems.
• Plan and execute project activities.
• Manage and develop assigned EICA staff.
• Lead the development of EICA design deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance on EICA matters to the wider project team.

Requirements:

• Degree, HND, or HNC in Electrical Engineering, or hands-on experience in an industrial electrical environment.
• Knowledge of British and European design standards.
• Passion for success and career development.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
