Job description

Electrical Design Engineer with MV/LV panel design experience needed to join an Engineering & Manufacturing company with over 80 years of experience in innovative electrical technology for the Nuclear and Energy sectors.

As an Electrical Engineer, you will manage all technical issues related to client purchase orders for MV/LV panels. This role is part of a broader engineering team, providing support from colleagues. Experience with Inventor software is required to produce electrical layout and GAs drawings for technical briefs and manuals.

This position has the potential to develop into a customer-facing Project Engineer / Project Manager role for the right individual.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the production and technical content of client documentation for purchase orders, including procedures, electrical diagrams, layout/arrangement drawings, and technical manuals.
• Create sub-supplier material requisitions for processing by others.
• Liaise with clients on all technical matters related to purchase orders.
• Coordinate with internal departments to meet purchase order requirements.
• Ensure departmental performance meets internal and external customer standards.
• Conduct detailed technical reviews.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues.

Qualifications:

• HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Inventor software.
