A research facility in South Oxfordshire is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a 1-2 year fixed-term contract. We now have an opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer, for either a 1-year or 2-year fixed-term contract, to join our Engineering team and provide electrical engineering design support for the technical systems of the Diamond facility.
The Engineering team plays a key role in designing, developing, and constructing the equipment required for X-ray production in scientific research.
Responsibilities will include:
About You
You will have a background in Electrical Engineering, with at least a Level 3 Qualification and recognized apprenticeship, or HNC or above in a relevant discipline.
You should be passionate about a career in electrical engineering, with experience in design, manufacture, assembly, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems. A basic understanding of control systems and electrical design methodology, along with working knowledge of CAD systems, is essential.
You should also have experience in:
