Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Power Systems or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience with MV switchgear design.
Strong understanding of UK electrical standards.

Responsibilities

Design electrical schematics for MV applications and prepare compliance documents.
Program protection devices and ensure specification conformity.
Support project management and maintain customer relationships.

Skills

Experience in MV switchgear design

Strong knowledge of UK electrical standards

Proficiency in Schneider protection relays

IEC61850

Modbus

Fluency in English

High-quality engineering performance

Education

The Mission:
Deliver electrical engineering designs for medium voltage equipment on low to medium complexity projects. Collaborate in a progressive, design-led team environment that values sustainability and innovation.

Your Role:
Work closely with project managers, clients, and design engineers to produce drawings, documentation, and provide technical support during FAT.

Key Responsibilities:

Review tender documentation and prepare technical compliance documents.
Identify interface requirements and ensure specification conformity.
Design electrical schematics for MV applications, selecting protection/control devices.
Calculate requirements for measuring devices (e.g., CTs, VTs).
Program protection devices (Micom, Sepam, Easergy).
Support project management, manufacturing, and commissioning teams.
Maintain customer relationships and stay current with technology trends.
Design IEC61850 communication architecture and files.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Skills & Attributes:

Experience in MV switchgear design on low to medium complexity projects.
Strong knowledge of UK electrical standards.
Proficiency in Schneider protection relays, IEC61850, Modbus.
Familiarity with EcoStruxure, AutoCAD, EPlan, SAP.
Fluent in English.
High-quality engineering performance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Power Systems or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
