Job description

The Mission:
Deliver electrical engineering designs for medium voltage equipment on low to medium complexity projects. Collaborate in a progressive, design-led team environment that values sustainability and innovation.

Your Role:
Work closely with project managers, clients, and design engineers to produce drawings, documentation, and provide technical support during FAT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review tender documentation and prepare technical compliance documents.
  • Identify interface requirements and ensure specification conformity.
  • Design electrical schematics for MV applications, selecting protection/control devices.
  • Calculate requirements for measuring devices (e.g., CTs, VTs).
  • Program protection devices (Micom, Sepam, Easergy).
  • Support project management, manufacturing, and commissioning teams.
  • Maintain customer relationships and stay current with technology trends.
  • Design IEC61850 communication architecture and files.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Experience in MV switchgear design on low to medium complexity projects.
  • Strong knowledge of UK electrical standards.
  • Proficiency in Schneider protection relays, IEC61850, Modbus.
  • Familiarity with EcoStruxure, AutoCAD, EPlan, SAP.
  • Fluent in English.
  • High-quality engineering performance.
