Attention all Electrical Design Engineers!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, one of our top clients, a leading multi–disciplinary engineering consultancy, is looking for a motivated and technically proficient Electrical Design Engineer, to join them in a permanent role. This role will consist of hybrid working, with three days a week in the client's office in Southampton.

Our client specialises in mechanical and electrical engineering design, across multiple sectors including healthcare.

–Competitive salary ranging from 40,000– 50,000 (depending on experience).

Hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

–Design electrical systems for commercial, residential, healthcare, and education projects.

–Produce drawings, specs, and calculations using industry software.

–Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

–Collaborate with clients, architects, and project teams.

–Attend project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

–A degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.

–Experience in electrical design within a consultancy.

–Solid knowledge of UK building regulations and standards.

–Proficiency in software like AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, or Dialux.

–Strong communication and time management skills.

–Membership (or working towards) of IET or CIBSE (desirable).
