Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a contract role based in Southampton. The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience and proficiency in Autocad, with knowledge in Utilities, Defence, or Chemical industries. This is a 3-month contract at a competitive hourly rate outside IR35.

• 10+ years experience as Electrical Design Engineer.
• Proven experience with Autocad.
• Experience in Utilities, Defence or Chemical industries.

• Design and engineering of electrical systems for varied applications.
• Ensure compliance with Functional Safety standards.

Electrical Design Engineer
Southampton
45 per hour Outside IR35
3 month initial

Essential Skillset:
10+ years experience as an Electrical Design Engineer Proven experience with Autocad
Strong working experience with Pro–design Trimble/Amtech
Experience working within Utilities, Defence or Chemical industries

Desirable Skillset:
Working knowledge of Functional Safety
TUV certified
5+ years of experience with EPLAN design software
