A leading aerospace organization is seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join its Test Centre in Filton. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge Hydrogen testing facilities, designing data acquisition and control systems for new test benches and shaping the future of sustainable aviation.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Develop architecture and design solutions for data acquisition and control systems.
Create electrical schematics for key components.
Specify instrumentation for various measurements (Pressure, Flow, Voltage, Current, etc.).
Produce requirement and specification documents for test systems.
What We're Looking For:
Proficiency in Electrical Design Tools (AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, KiCad).
Strong understanding of electrical design principles & systems.
Experience with instrumentation, data acquisition, and control systems.
Knowledge of avionic data buses (A429, CAN, AFDX) & hardware interfaces (discretes, analogues).
Team player with a problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
