Our client, a well-established engineering solutions provider in Cookstown, is seeking an exceptional Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. Our client prides itself on delivering excellent customer service and innovative, high-quality products. Their team comprises seasoned engineers and talented designers with 20 years of industry experience. Their projects span the water and energy sectors, offering variety and intrigue.

Your new role
  • Electrical Design Excellence: You’ll primarily be office-based, utilising AutoCAD-based software for electrical design.
  • Collaboration: Work with Project Engineers to define system architecture and equipment needs (motors, MCCs, instrumentation, PLCs).
  • Project Deliverables: Produce key project outputs, including P&ID diagrams, mechanical layouts, schematic diagrams, cable calculations, and installation schedules.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or EPlan.
  • Industry experience that fosters your innovative mindset.
  • A recognised Electrical Engineering qualification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with the water industry is desirable but not essential.
