Job summary

JP Engineering in Cambridge is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing M&E consultancy. This hybrid, permanent role offers development opportunities and a salary up to £45,000 plus benefits.

You will design electrical building services, perform calculations, prepare drawings and documentation, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver diverse projects from concept to completion.

Qualifications

• Experience within electrical building services design.
• A relevant engineering qualification or degree.
• Knowledge of electrical design principles and UK regulations.
• Experience using CAD/design software.
• Good technical and analytical skills.

We’re working with a growing M&E consultancy in Cambridge that is looking to appoint an Electrical Design Engineer to join its expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who has already gained experience within building services and is looking for a company that will support their continued technical development and career progression.

The opportunity

You’ll be working alongside experienced mechanical and electrical engineers, contributing to the design and delivery of a wide range of building services projects.

You’ll have the opportunity to get involved from the early design stages through to project completion, gaining exposure to different clients, sectors and project requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:
