As the successful candidate, you will be reporting to the Director, working from a new, beautifully designed office in Birmingham, equipped with state–of–the–art facilities and designed with both comfort and productivity in mind. You will be working on a variety of projects including commercial, education, sport and leisure, hospitality, manufacturing, healthcare, mixed use and residential.
Job Summary
You will be responsible for the Electrical Design on a variety of projects. You will also be responsible for assisting the project lead in advising on the resourcing and workload within the projects Electrical team, setting/managing design goals along with the Project Senior, attending weekly team meetings and assisting in seeking ways of improving the efficiency and productivity of the team.
Duties
Technical Ability
As the successful Electrical Design Engineer you will have a good working understanding of current building regulations, CIBSE documentation, IEE Wiring Regulations, British standards, BSRIA documentation and all other general design guides associated with the building services industry.
It is essential that you are IT literate, with a working knowledge of office,
AutoCAD, Revit and Hevacomp.
Ideally you will be working towards Member of CIBSE/IET
accreditation as a minimum and will have a minimum of 3–4 years experience in the Building Services industry.
