Job summary

Inform3 Recruitment based in Belfast is seeking Building Service Engineers to join their team. You will work with senior engineers to develop practical, energy‑efficient solutions that meet client requirements and building regulations.

Responsibilities include coordinating mechanical/electrical designs, producing reports and programmes, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services or a similar discipline.
• Experience designing mechanical and/or electrical building services systems for commercial, residential, hospitality or public-sector developments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Revit or other BIM-based design software.
• Experience delivering detailed designs through full design cycles.
• Ability to prepare technical calculations, engineering specifications and design documentation.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

• Develop high quality sustainable building engineering services designs, calculations, technical notes and reports
• Produce detailed programmes to provide time scales and milestones for the projects

• Support the development of energy-efficient and sustainable engineering solutions, incorporating low-carbon technologies where appropriate.
• Undertake technical reviews and assist with design quality assurance processes.

Our client based in Belfast is recruiting for both Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Engineers to join their team.

Working alongside senior engineers, architects, contractors and other design professionals you will help develop practical, energy-efficient and commercially viable engineering solutions that meet client requirements, industry standards and relevant building regulations.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery.
