Job summary

Technical Partners is seeking an Electrical Craft Team Member to join our busy engineering team in Hartlepool. This permanent, full-time role covers 12-hour day and night shifts (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off) and focuses on planned and reactive maintenance to maximise plant reliability.

You will diagnose faults, carry out maintenance on production equipment, and work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver robust engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Completed electrical apprenticeship or NVQ or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities on production equipment.
• Provide first-line electrical fault-finding expertise to minimise plant downtime and maintain operational performance.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults across a variety of plant and machinery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance process control systems and equipment reliability.
• Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to deliver robust engineering solutions.
• Ensure repairs are completed to a high standard to prevent recurrence of faults.
