Salary: £36,779 - £37,586 (£31,982 basic plus 15% shift allowance, rising to £32,684 plus 15% shift allowance after probation)

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an Electrical Craft Team Member, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems across the plant. Your daily tasks will include:

• Performing planned and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime.

• Troubleshooting relay control circuits, AC/DC motors, and various types of drives.

• Conducting basic PLC fault finding on Siemens S7 300, 1200, and 1500 systems.

• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and working with computerized maintenance management systems (MMS).

• Contributing to plant reliability and efficiency by identifying and implementing improvement projects.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be considered for this role, you should have:

A Level 3 qualification (BTEC, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3) in Electrical Engineering or be apprentice-trained.
Experience working with low voltage systems, drives, and PLCs in a heavy industrial environment.
Strong electrical fault-finding and root cause analysis skills.
A team-player mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-skilled team.
Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern (days, lates, and nights, Monday to Friday).

Bonus skills: Holding an 18th Edition qualification or basic mechanical knowledge would be an advantage.
