Purpose of the Role

During this four-year apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering Maintenance, I will participate in a comprehensive training program. This involves attending college on a day release schedule and working closely with the Hanson Aggregates Maintenance Engineering Team. My main responsibilities include ensuring the smooth operation of plant, equipment, and systems through preventative maintenance, routine checks, and swift response to emergency breakdowns. I will aim to improve equipment reliability and may be involved in modifications or repairs as needed. This apprenticeship will equip me with essential skills and knowledge to excel in Electrical Engineering Maintenance, making me a valuable team member at Heidelberg Materials Aggregates.

Key Accountabilities

• Work safely following all Health and Safety regulations.
• Follow all IMS procedures related to work activities.
• Coordinate with Managers, Team Leaders, and other departments.
• Work effectively as part of the Engineering Team to ensure efficiency.
• Attend training courses for license renewal and knowledge updates.
• Work well within a team environment.
• Be computer literate, including internet, intranet, and Microsoft Office packages.
• Maintain a flexible and committed approach to tasks.
• Manage time effectively.

Education/Qualifications
