Job summary

Vishay Israel is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to lead HV/LV switching, maintain main distribution, CHP and site BMS/SCADA systems. You will manage maintenance with third parties when required and develop switching plans that avoid manufacturing downtime.

You will also produce weekly energy reports, train shift personnel, administer the CMMS, and contribute to management of change, 8D and FMEA reviews. Strong electrical/control knowledge and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding plant operation including VFDs, motors, boilers, HVAC, pumps, and vacuum systems.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings including P&IDs and flow diagrams.
• Experience with pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of electrical and control/instrumentation systems.
• Fault finding on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic controls.
• Able to present to senior management when required.
• Familiarity with air conditioning, humidity and room pressure controls.
• Experience in facilities management or building services environment.
• Knowledge of electrical regulations and their application.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HV/LV switching plans to allow maintenance without interrupting production.
• Manage HV/LV main distribution including protection, PFC and SPDs.
• Maintain CHP systems uptime and reliability.
• Operate and maintain site BMS/SCADA systems.
• Administer CMMS to schedule and record maintenance tasks.
• Provide on-the-job training to technicians and engineers.
• Produce weekly energy reports and data analysis.
• Contribute to MOC, 8D, FMEA and energy/environmental reviews.
• Write operational and performance specifications for electrical/control systems.
