Job summary

Rivan Industries, a London-based synthetic fuel company, seeks an Electrical Technician to build and wire electrical control panels for our cutting-edge gas production systems. The role is based at our 60,000 sq ft facility in Bermondsey, South London with extensive relocation support.

You will test panels using multimeters, loop meters, HiPot testers, and Meggers, ensure cable management, and assist with R&D electrical builds, all while upholding the highest safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience wiring industrial electrical control panels and electrical machine integration.
• Understanding of panel wiring and electrical integration to BS EN 60204-1, and BS7671 standards
• Experience of testing both industrial hardware, and providing input into test practices during system design
• Understanding of general safe working practices, ensuring safety is maintained
• Understanding of ATEX electrical installations (BS EN 60079-11)
• CompEx trained relating to electrical installations

Responsibilities

• Build electrical control panels wiring single and three-phase 230VAC and PELV DC circuits.
• Wire connectors into looms with pristine cable management.
• Panels installed into larger systems with sensors and actuators.
• Test panels with multimeters, loop meters, HiPot testers, and Meggers; record data.
• Assist R&D electrical builds and support testing of new equipment.
• Uphold highest safety standards during testing of hazardous systems.
