We are seeking a motivated and capable Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to join our Design Engineering Group, within the Engineering Department at Torness Power Station. This is a full-time, site-based position and is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the safe, reliable and efficient operation of a UK nuclear licensed site through the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions and safety justifications.
The role is ideally suited to engineers from a Design Engineering, Safety Case, or related technical background who are looking to apply their expertise across a diverse range of engineering, nuclear safety and regulatory activities.
The salary range associated with this role is between£47,513 to £99,929 however; the starting salary will be within the range of £47,513 to £84,595 allowing room for career advancement. You'll be appointed based on the parameters outlined in the Company Agreement as well as your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications. As an EC&I Engineer, you will support the development and implementation of engineering modifications and technical solutions across station systems. The role combines engineering design activities with nuclear safety assessment and regulatory justification, ensuring that modifications are delivered in accordance with site licence conditions and relevant industry standards.
You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, operations personnel, independent nuclear assurance, and external regulators to ensure the continued safe operation of the power station.
