Electrical Contracts Manager - Hospital - Exeter
Responsibilities
- Oversee project delivery: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all electrical packages within the hospital project, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers: Procure, appoint, and oversee electrical subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, and project milestones.
- Programme and progress control: Develop and monitor detailed project programmes, track progress, mitigate risks, and report progress to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stakeholder coordination: Act as the key point of contact between the client, design consultants, main contractor team, and specialist trades, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
- Commercial and contractual management: Support cost control and contract administration, including variations, valuations, and financial forecasting to protect project margins and commercial objectives.
Requirements
- Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
- Must have 10+ years experience in a similar role (preferably on healthcare construction projects)
- Must be based within commutable distance of sites in Exeter and Plymouth
Benefits
£70,000 - £80,000 + Package
