Overview

Electrical Contracts Manager - Hospital - Exeter

Responsibilities
  • Oversee project delivery: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all electrical packages within the hospital project, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers: Procure, appoint, and oversee electrical subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, and project milestones.
  • Programme and progress control: Develop and monitor detailed project programmes, track progress, mitigate risks, and report progress to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder coordination: Act as the key point of contact between the client, design consultants, main contractor team, and specialist trades, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Commercial and contractual management: Support cost control and contract administration, including variations, valuations, and financial forecasting to protect project margins and commercial objectives.
Requirements

  • Must have 10+ years experience in a similar role (preferably on healthcare construction projects)
