Job description
Overview

Take ownership of high-value projects across defence, commercial and datacentre sectors - giving you the chance to build expertise on complex, large-scale installations.

You’ll shape delivery with your ideas and decisions, working with full autonomy to manage timelines, budgets and teams. This means less micromanagement and more control over how you run things.

With a steady pipeline of challenging projects, you’ll always have something to sink your teeth into—projects that attract top talent because of their scale and technical demands.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete construction installation project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies and design input through to final completion and handover.
  • Attend project start-up meetings and manage all mechanical aspects, delivering the project on time and within budget. Familiarise yourself with all details and specifications of the project.
  • Collate technical submittals, ensuring they are issued and followed through until approval. Maintain a weekly progress report, managing any changes or variations.
  • Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.
  • Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment, ensuring materials are always available to complete the project.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in a Mechanical Project Manager or similar position
  • Successful track record of delivering large-scale projects
  • Qualification in Construction/Project Management is preferred, along with experience of supervising teams
