G2 Energy (G2E) are high voltage electrical and civil engineers who are a NERS accredited Independent Connect Provider (ICP) capable of providing Contestable Works up to kV, as well as National Grid -kV.

The Electrical Site Construction Supervisor will have a strong technical electrical background in LV & HV with supporting qualifications. The role supports the Project Manager in delivering and supervising electrical works on G2E projects.

Main Duties include:

• Drawings & Specifications: Familiarise yourself and comply with project drawings & specifications (e.g., DNO, G81). Liaise with G2E designers as needed.
• Supervise electrical works on site: Installation of wiring, accessories, and electrical equipment for LV & HV systems, including cable tray, conduit, meters, relays, protection equipment, earthing, ducting, inspection, testing, and commissioning.
• Communication: Effectively liaise with G2E colleagues, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Programme of Works: Provide updates to the Project Manager to support scheduling.
• Street Works: Ensure compliance with Section 50 of the NRSWA Act.
• NJUG: Follow NJUG guidelines.
• Subcontractors/Suppliers: Manage processes, scope of work, review T&Cs, and RAMS.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years in electrical industry installing LV/HV systems, including switchgear, transformers, substations.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of electrical industry standards and health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Good understanding of MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Experience installing electrical works up to kV (preferred).
• Knowledge of DNO G81, Sect 50, SAP, and/or DNO authorisations.
