Electrical Construction Manager – Mixed-use Commercial – Central London

Our client is a large and well-established MEP Sub-Contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major Mechanical & Electrical Packages on behalf of Tier 1 main contractors involved in ‘technology’ schemes including Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor plants and heavy industrial projects.

Due to continued growth in the region of their Commercial division, our client is now seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to join their team based on a mixed-use commercial build in Central London.

Responsibilities
  1. Electrical System Planning & Coordination – Oversees the installation of electrical systems, ensuring integration with architectural and structural plans while coordinating with other trades.
  2. Quality Assurance & Compliance – Ensures all electrical work meets project specifications, codes (e.g., NEC, BS 7671), and local regulations.
  3. Site Supervision & Safety Management – Monitors on-site electrical installations, enforces safety protocols, and ensures adherence to industry best practices.
  4. Resource & Budget Management – Manages electrical materials, labor, and subcontractors to maintain efficiency while keeping costs within budget.
  5. Testing, Commissioning & Handover – Oversees system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to ensure a fully functional and compliant electrical infrastructure before project completion.
Requirements
  1. Must have relevant Electrical Degree or equivalent trades background.
  2. Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar position.
