Job summary

A recruitment company is looking for an Electrical Compliance Tester to join their team. This role involves installing and testing low voltage wiring and containment systems across the UK, with a focus on safety and compliance. Candidates should have relevant electrical qualifications, experience in manufacturing, and a full UK Driving License. Benefits include a healthcare cash plan and generous holiday allowances.

Qualifications

• Experience of electrical installations and testing within a process plant environment.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Experience of using thermal imaging test equipment would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe electrical isolation procedures for existing live circuits.
• Install low voltage wiring and cable containment systems.
• Issue installation and condition reports.
• Test energising systems up to 1000V.
• Ensure operational procedures and H&S practices are followed.

Electrical installations experience

Testing procedures knowledge

Ability to read electrical diagrams

Experience in Manufacturing and Industrial sectors

Using thermal imaging test equipment

Education

2391 or 2394/5 qualification

18th edition qualification

NVQ Level 3 qualification
