Overview

Electrical Commissioning Manager. We are currently looking for an Electrical Commissioning Manager for a client based in the Berkshire area. This opportunity is an outside of IR35 contract with rates commensurate with experience. This role offers involvement in one of the most complex and challenging projects in the UK to date.

Responsibilities
  • Management, oversight and delivery of commissioning work packages within a complex infrastructure project.
  • Support the management and deployment of the Overall Project Commissioning Strategy.
  • Manage the production, review and approval of test documentation by the Suppliers.
  • Plan and co-ordinate commissioning tests with the Suppliers.
  • Integrate test requirements and pre-requisites into the project programme.
  • Assist with the development of the detailed construction schedule to ensure a phased release of works to support the commissioning activities.
  • Report status of the pre-requisites to commissioning works and the commissioning works by the suppliers.
  • Management and implementation of commissioning stakeholder engagement plans.
  • Chair commissioning reviews with stakeholders including design reviews, change reviews and procedure reviews.
Requirements
  • Substantial experience of commissioning large facilities and managing commissioning teams to deliver successful outcomes within Electronic Security systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise security systems including card access control, intruder detection systems, CCTV systems and perimeter intrusion detection systems.
  • Experience in delivering and understanding design aspects of electronic security systems.
  • Experience in electronic security systems commissioning.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and application of commissioning methodologies.
  • Educated to degree level, or equivalent work experience.
Clearance and Right to Work

This role will require the Right to work in the UK and the position may require Sole British Nationals as Security clearance will be needed, with the willingness to obtain DV clearance if required.
