Job summary

JAM is seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Manager to lead critical commissioning on data centre projects across the UK and Europe. You will oversee L1–L5 commissioning, IST, and handover, coordinating commissioning engineers, MEP contractors and subcontractors to deliver tested, reliable power and UPS systems.

Qualifications

• Experience as Electrical Commissioning Manager, Commissioning Lead or Senior Commissioning Engineer.
• Strong electrical commissioning background within data centres or mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical commissioning activities across large-scale data centre projects.
• Oversee L1–L5 commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST) and handover.
• Coordinate commissioning engineers, MEP contractors and specialist subcontractors.
• Review commissioning plans, test scripts and technical documentation.
• Oversee testing of HV/MV and LV electrical systems.
• Resolve technical issues and support commissioning programme delivery.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
