Job summary

EDF Energy is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to deliver safe, efficient electrical commissioning activities at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater. You will review test results, resolve technical issues, and contribute to readiness for operations on Europe’s largest infrastructure project.

Based on site, you will work with multidisciplinary teams, support complex technical decisions, and contribute to final commissioning documentation while ensuring compliance with UK regulations and project

Qualifications

Electrical engineering expertise in commissioning activities within regulated industries such as energy or infrastructure.
Knowledge of UK electrical legislation and regulatory frameworks including CDM requirements.
Experience in plant-based commissioning, triage, troubleshooting, and on-site technical queries.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to commissioning teams to resolve open points and remove blockers.
Interface with engineering teams to address complex technical issues.
Review, verify and accept commissioning test results in line with procedures.
Analyse non-conforming results and recommend corrective actions.
Produce commissioning phase reports to support progression to the next stage.
