Job summary

LMR Resourcing is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer for a contract role in the South-West. The position starts as part-time from September and is expected to transition to full-time, running until around December (5 days per week).

The role centers on commissioning electrical systems for a major clean energy facility, coordinating power block start-up and updating operating procedures, with the contract outside IR35.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in electrical commissioning in the power generation sector.
• Relevant qualification at least HNC/HND or higher.
• CCNSG Safety Passport is essential; SSTS/SMSTS cards are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support commissioning of a major new clean energy facility for alternative fuels.
• Lead commissioning of electrical systems during cold and hot commissioning phases.
• Coordinate activities for power block and ancillary systems start-up.
