We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to support the commissioning of a hydrogen project in Methil, Fife. This is a 6-month contract role working on high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) electrical systems. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient commissioning of critical power infrastructure.
What You Will Need:
Proven experience in electrical commissioning within energy, process, nuclear, oil & gas, or power industries.
Expertise in HV (11kV) & LV (400V) systems, including switchgear, transformers, UPS, and variable speed drives.
Strong knowledge of HV switching, Electrical Safety Rules, and isolations, with Senior Authorised Person (SAP) certification.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, procedures, and technical standards.
Hands-on experience with Factory & Site Acceptance Testing (FAT/SAT), fault-finding, and commissioning documentation.
