Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join their team in Farnham. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the commissioning of electrical systems in a contract role. Candidates should have a relevant Electrical Engineering qualification and proven experience, particularly in water treatment projects. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or equivalent) required.
• Proven experience in electrical commissioning, especially in water treatment projects.
• Strong knowledge of control panels, MCCs, LV systems, and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and carry out the electrical commissioning of systems on-site.
• Plan, test, and verify system performance against project specifications.
• Identify and resolve commissioning issues in a timely manner.

Skills

Are you an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer looking for a new challenge?

Here at Blueprint Recruitment one of our leading clients is seeking a technically skilled and motivated Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join their team in a contract position. The successful candidate will work full time on site in Farnham.

Our client is a respected multi-disciplinary engineering and construction company, delivering innovative, sustainable solutions across the water, energy, and infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead and carry out the electrical commissioning of systems on-site.

-Plan, test, and verify system performance against project specifications.

-Work closely with design, project, and construction teams to ensure smooth handovers.

-Identify and resolve commissioning issues in a timely manner.

-Produce detailed commissioning reports and documentation.

-Ensure compliance with safety standards, technical regulations, and client requirements.

Key Requirements:

-Electrical Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or equivalent).

-Proven experience in electrical commissioning, preferably within water treatment projects.

-Strong knowledge of control panels, MCCs, LV systems, and instrumentation.

-Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.

-Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
