Job summary

Pascon Ltd in Walsall is seeking an experienced Electrical CAD Technician to join the Technical team. You will produce, update and maintain high-quality electrical drawings and support LV, HV and EHV network design work.

You will liaise with Design Engineers and Operations to resolve queries, interpret specifications and ensure drawings comply with internal procedures and industry standards. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, drawing registers and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Produce, update and maintain high-quality electrical engineering drawings using Autodesk CAD software.
• Interpret engineering specifications and site survey information to translate into CAD drawings.
• Liaise with Design Engineers and Operations to resolve drawing queries and clashes.
• Carry out utilities searches and review undertaker information to identify existing services.

Responsibilities

• Produce, update and maintain high-quality electrical engineering drawings using Autodesk CAD software.
• Support LV, HV and EHV network designs including cable routes and substation layouts.
• Review red-line drawings and as-laid information from site teams for accuracy.
• Assist with Land Registry and property searches affecting electrical infrastructure.
