About

Blackburn Starling & Co Ltd are looking for an experienced Electrical CAD Technician to join their existing team on a permanent basis at their office in Nottingham. As a specialist business in the manufacturing of MCCs and power control sector, youll get the opportunity to work on technically complex and challenging projects, alongside a multi-disciplinary team of Design Engineers & Technicians who have an extensive background and experience within the industry.

Some Of Your Key Duties Include

  • Work with design teams and project delivery teams to produce drawings
  • Independently work and manage timescales against project programmes
  • Produce plans and technical drawings for projects
  • Make changes to exiting designs
  • Checking the quality of information collected on site, and the successful transition to deliverables
  • Any other duties as required by the business

What Do You Need?

  • Qualified to HNC level would be advantageous, but not necessary
  • Good knowledge in the use of AutoCAD & 3D modelling
  • Keen focus on quality whilst also be able to work at pace within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Full UK Driving Licence
