Position: Electrical Buyer

Location: Bolton

Work Pattern: Contract - Hybrid

We're recruiting for an Electrical Buyer responsible for purchasing electrical components for the construction and rail industry.

Responsibilities:

• Supply chain management – building relationships with existing & new suppliers, negotiating competitive pricing, and ensuring timely delivery.
• Maintain & update a supply chain tracker, including key details such as supplier specialty, payment terms, credit limit, and rebates.
• Monitor monthly spend with each supplier.
• Liaise with the Commercial & Accounting departments to forecast costs weekly & monthly.

Qualifications:

• Experience in the construction industry buying electrical components.
• Ideally experience in the Commercial, Industrial, or Rail sector.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
