Job Description:

Responsibilities include:

• Manage engineering requirements by liaising with key stakeholders such as client design team, main contractor, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Evaluate and promote new engineering practices to enhance project delivery time.
• Familiarize with design specifications and drawings to understand the scope of works.
• Oversee the coordination process to convert design information into installation drawings.
• Prepare tender packages for subcontractors and suppliers in collaboration with the project QS.
• Assess tender returns for technical compliance with design specifications.
• Attend meetings with client design teams to clarify design aspects, including managing RFIs.
• Be aware of the project schedule and ensure engineering activities do not cause delays.
• Manage technical submittals, approvals, and procurement schedules.
• Prepare detailed method statements for work activities, ensuring compliance with EHS plans.
• Ensure installation works meet project specifications and QA plans.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure smooth information flow for project progress.
• Prepare commissioning and testing procedures and oversee pre-commissioning and testing works.
• Manage the commissioning process.
