Build Recruitment Limited in Maidstone, Kent is seeking an Associate Director/Technical Director specialising in Electrical Building Services to lead complex projects, set technical direction, and guide a growing consultancy across multiple sectors.

You will own technical delivery, manage client relationships, mentor engineers, drive business development, and influence project outcomes from concept to completion, with a clear pathway to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
• Strong design and delivery background in a consultancy.
• Chartered status (or working towards) advantageous.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary Building Services projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Building Services projects across sectors.
• Act as primary client contact and develop relationships.
• Provide technical leadership with focus on electrical engineering design.
• Manage programmes, resources, budgets and quality standards.
• Mentor engineers and develop the team.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Contribute to business development, client engagement, bids.
