Job summary

Pertemps Tm in Northampton is seeking an Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to develop electrical designs across residential and accommodation projects, supporting delivery from initial design through BSRIA Stage 6 and project handover.

You will work closely with estimating, BIM and project delivery teams alongside developers, architects and contractors, ensuring compliance with employer requirements, standards and health and safety, with strong CPD and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical engineering services for building projects.
• Experience across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical building services designs through project stages up to BSRIA Stage 6.
• Support tender production for design and build projects.
• Collaborate with BIM to produce 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Assist project teams through installation, commissioning and handover.
• Ensure designs comply with employer requirements, standards and safety regulations.
• Liaise with subcontractors, manufacturers and suppliers.
