Job summary

Mitie is recruiting a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer with an electrical bias for the Heathrow area. This full-time role operates on a 4 on 4 off shift rotation (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) across a large estate, delivering electrical and mechanical maintenance to critical buildings.

You will join a 24/7 shift team to ensure safety, compliance and full operation of services, including power distribution, lighting, standby generators, controls, inverters and fire alarm/PA systems.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds craft certificate or ONC or equivalent.
• Recognised craft apprenticeship at NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and pass full intrusive security checks.
• C&G Level 3 in HVAC/Mechanical Engineering is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance across building services.
• Work as part of a balanced shift team providing 24-hour cover for the Heathrow estate.
• Identify plant defects, warning indicators and system faults, taking corrective actions.
• Maintain and support building services systems including power distribution, motor controls, lighting, standby generators, controls systems, inverters and fire alarm/PA systems.
