Job summary

Heysham Port Ltd in Lancashire is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to maintain essential plant, equipment and infrastructure at the Port. You will join our Engineering team in a busy operational environment with a strong electrical focus.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, testing and inspections, plus mechanical tasks. Respond to breakdowns, support projects, investigate root causes and record completed work to maintain reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Qualified to at least Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering, preferably Electrical.
• Experience in a heavy industrial environment with electrical fault-finding.
• Strong fault-finding, testing, inspection and repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, responsive maintenance across Heysham Port.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding and repairs.
• Respond to breakdowns, support projects and record work accurately.
• Work with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic tasks and drawings.
